About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Commodity Buyer III to join our team at Safran Electrical & Power. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing of assigned commodities to support procurement requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for all assigned commodities, applying best-in-class procurement processes and technology.
  • Lead negotiations to select, appoint, and steer a supply base that progresses the company's objectives on quality, cost, delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute RFI, RFQ, and RFP requirements.
  • Evaluate competitive offers and present sourcing options that meet business requirements.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements in line with company objectives, with continuous coordination with group legal.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sourcing or production environment with a successful track record of developing and executing supplier or customer strategies and programs.
  • Experience sourcing Aerospace components preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex pricing proposals and formulate a strategic plan.

  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
