Job Title: Sr Contract Specialist

Sally Beauty Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Sr Contract Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for negotiating agreements, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers, including NDA, MSA, SOW, and other structure agreements
  • Manage contracts, including expiring contracts, RFPs, and onboarding new suppliers
  • Support Procurement Category Manager in conducting RFI/RFQ/RFPs and identifying opportunities to bid on services, materials, or commodity requirements
  • Review and evaluate spend, and proactively seek potential new suppliers or vendor consolidation opportunities to encourage competition that results in best value and cost opportunities for the business
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent with related experience and/or training
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating agreements, and managing onboarding suppliers and the RFP procurement process
  • Capable of supporting the development and Key Performance Indicators to manage the procurement process, and using a Quickbase (contract management tool) to manage the contracting process

  • Demonstrates experienced knowledge with Contracting/ VMO best practices
  • Demonstrates persuasion and influencing skills with adeptness in conflict management and vendor negotiations
  • Ability to be a self-starter and coordinate multiple tasks in various environments
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and various levels of management
  • Ability to maintain a professionalism with internal customers and external vendors
