Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Sr Contract Specialist to support our procurement team in negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing supplier processes, providing contract reporting, and working closely with our legal and business teams to streamline processes and provide standards for our business groups.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate agreements with suppliers, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and other structure agreements in Quickbase. Develop and implement negotiation strategies to achieve best value and cost opportunities for the business.
  2. Procurement Support: Support the Procurement Category Manager in conducting RFI/RFQ/RFPs, identifying opportunities to bid on services, materials, or commodity requirements, and reviewing and evaluating spend to proactively seek potential new suppliers or vendor consolidation opportunities.
  3. Agreement Management: Manage agreements that are expiring through Quickbase, emails, and other methods of communication with internal business partners. Work with Procurement to determine the need for running an RFP, support RFPs, and onboard new suppliers or update agreements with existing suppliers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with related experience and/or training.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating agreements, as well as managing onboarding suppliers and the RFP procurement process.
  • Significant experience with coordinating processes, negotiations, and aligning internal and external partners for meetings.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, to influence business partners, cross-functional teams, and all levels of personnel.
