Job Summary

M1 Support Services is seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our contracting team, you will be responsible for managing and administering government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, track, and confirm accuracy of government contracts, modifications, funding, value, and disseminate contract and modification information internally.
  • Administer, maintain, and ensure compliance with Company contracting policies, processes, and guidelines consistent with government contract requirements and regulations.
  • Work with Company contracts staff, PMs, legal, subcontractor personnel, and government contracting offices to proactively resolve contract issues and changes.
  • Coordinate and track all contracts and related proposal deadlines.
  • Facilitate implementation of contract compliance and contract briefs.
  • Manage IDIQ Task Order proposal development, submissions, changes, and modifications.
  • Support VP of Contracts and Legal in the overall contracts administration and compliance.
  • Participate in proposal, REA, and change development, including proposals and price adjustments.
  • Familiarity with small business plan administration/reporting responsibilities preferred.
  • Sustain a culture of collaboration, quality, compliance, and professionalism.
  • Ability to perform in a complex, cross-functional, multi-site business environment.
  • Build productive relationships with customer, contracting offices, business partners, and Company management/functional personnel.
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Work history showing continued increase of responsibility.
  • Defense/military services or aircraft services experience preferred.
  • Some contracts-related pricing experience preferred.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
  • BS/BA required.
  • 7+ years federal government contracting experience, with minimum of 2 years in a manager level position.
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of government contracting life cycle.
  • Applicable experience administering government contracts, NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and modifications, extensions, options, and changes thereto.
  • Working knowledge of the FAR, FAR Supplements, and other government procurement and pricing regulatory standards.
  • Practical experience with large firm-fixed-price (FFP) contracts involving the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
  • Functional understanding of services contracts and the SCLS as it applies to both union and non-union service employees.
  • Applicable knowledge of various government contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Reimbursable, LH, and Incentive/Award Fee) in DoD or similar large federal agency.
  • High aptitude for analyzing proposal, contract, subcontract, and REA terms, conditions, performance standards, and pricing.
  • Detail oriented with ability to simultaneously and effectively handle multiple complex tasks and projects with positive, professional temperament.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to professionally interface with Contracting Officers, customers, subcontractors, and Company management personnel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including moderate to high level working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
  • Amenable to periodic travel.
