Job Summary

Municipal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled HRIS Analyst to join our team. As an HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for the administration, programming, and maintenance of our HR systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the optimal function of our HRIS, including installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements, and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Maintain employment records and assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, meeting all deadlines.
  • Assist with processing new hires, terminations, and employee changes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns, with a focus on recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in HRIS, with a strong understanding of HR systems and software.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment and HR standard policies.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
