Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Dodson Global. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the West Coast region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings and stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and prospects, and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Manage a balanced distribution network and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Develop and maintain a personal relationship with customers in the designated territory, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Stay attuned to market trends and competitor activity, and provide regular market updates to management.
- Ensure all sales activities are conducted in a professional and ethical manner, and that all customer interactions are handled with the highest level of integrity.
Requirements
- Previous experience in technical sales, preferably in the industrial valves and value-added products and services industry.
- Demonstrated achievements in sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain long-standing relationships with customers and partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a virtual setting with minimal supervision.
- Passion for continued improvement and team success, with a positive professional attitude at all times.
