About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team at Health Care and Rehabilitation Services. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, counseling, and case management to individuals and families experiencing a mental health crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mental status exams and suicide assessments on individuals in distress and make appropriate referrals for services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with people of all ages in the mental health and/or substance use context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
