Job Title: Building Construction Superintendent

Join the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities as a Building Construction Superintendent and contribute to the rehabilitation and correction of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
  • Manage construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and supervising contractors and staff.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with facilities management teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on maintenance and repair procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects and maintaining facilities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on customer service and quality.
