Position Overview:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects in satellite and spacecraft design. This role is critical in maintaining our quality assurance and engineering protocols, ensuring that all products adhere to the highest standards of quality. Your proficiency in Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Failure Analysis, and nonconformance management will be essential in delivering exceptional products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and uphold quality assurance protocols for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Implement and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to maintain superior quality standards.
  • Lead investigations into failures, determine root causes, and execute corrective measures to avert future occurrences.
  • Oversee nonconformance processes, conduct audits, and collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams, including design and engineering, to uphold quality from initial design to final product delivery.
  • Provide technical support and training to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering within the manufacturing sector, ideally in aerospace.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 processes and certification.
  • Knowledge of statistical quality control methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
  • Certification in Quality Engineering or a related field is a plus.
