We are in search of a Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance our team. This role entails the evaluation of both new and existing functionalities. Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct testing, verification, and validation of applications, including the creation of test plans to ensure successful updates.
  • Design, refine, and maintain automated tests to thoroughly validate both new and existing software functionalities.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team, performing in-depth analyses of complex features to guarantee quality and reliability.
  • Continuously enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness by improving testing tools and methodologies.
  • Independently gather and analyze data for process enhancements.
  • Manage tasks using Gitlab, Jira, and our automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Engage in an Agile and highly collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Preferred).

Essential Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of test design, planning, and addressing test automation challenges.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on deliverable quality.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of identifying issues, researching solutions, and collaborating with the team for implementation.
  • Able to work effectively within a small, agile, and highly skilled team.
  • Strong grasp of Agile principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and Java (Preferred).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in Linux (Preferred).
  • Experience with JavaScript-based test automation frameworks like Cypress, Jest, and Selenium (minimum 2 years of professional experience).
  • Experience in testing no-code configurable SaaS products (Preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with X-ray or Zephyr test management plugins for Jira.
  • Familiarity with Postman.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in software development testing.
