Job Summary

The Electrophysiology Lab at UC Davis Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Technician to join our team. As an integral part of the EP team, you will be responsible for operating technical equipment used during complex EP procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the performance of all EP invasive and interventional procedures, including EPS, ablation, PM, ICD, lead extraction, and loop recorder procedures.
  • Operate X-ray and digital equipment, ensuring high-quality images and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Pre- and post-procedure preparation, including maintaining inventory control and assisting in maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support or UCDH-issued Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Possession of valid CRT and CA Fluoroscopy.
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialists (RCES) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification within 12 months of hire.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in Radiography.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT certification.
  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
