Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cath Lab Technologist to provide support to cardiologists and registered nurses in the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the Cardiac Catheter Lab.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow established procedures to provide technical support for cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a cardiologist.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of procedures and patient data.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • OR RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy certification.
  • OR ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists certification.
  • OR RCIS-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification.
  • OR CVT-Certified Cardiovascular Technician certification.
  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization testing, mechanics, and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • In-depth understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
