The Cardiovascular Technologist is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures under the supervision of the Cath Lab Clinical Coordinator. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiac rhythms, basic 12-lead ECG interpretation, and cardiac hemodynamics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registry eligible as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Radiology Technician with current x-ray and fluoroscopy license.
  • Registry certified as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
  • ACLS certification.
