Resumen del Trabajo

El Analista Financiero Senior supervisa las funciones de cuentas por pagar y cobrar de la empresa, aprobando facturas para su pago y asegurando la codificación adecuada, además de monitorear los informes de antigüedad de cuentas por pagar. Este rol también incluye la asistencia en la preparación de estados financieros mensuales.

Funciones y Responsabilidades

· Revisa y aprueba las facturas procesadas por los especialistas en cuentas por pagar, incluyendo la codificación a las unidades de negocio y cuentas del libro mayor correspondientes.

· Procesa archivos y facturas recibidas, codifica a las cuentas del libro mayor apropiadas y valida la codificación ingresada por las operaciones.

· Importa facturas de cuentas por pagar en los sistemas contables. Escanea, archiva y codifica las facturas recibidas.

· Monitorea las cuentas de correo electrónico compartidas de contabilidad general y cuentas por pagar. Asegura que los correos sean atendidos de manera oportuna y realiza seguimientos hasta que el problema se resuelva satisfactoriamente.

· Confirma la precisión de la información de las facturas y la documentación de respaldo. Se comunica con operadores y otros miembros de la empresa para obtener información, según sea necesario.

· Mantiene una comunicación efectiva y proactiva con los proveedores.

· Completa el formulario de configuración de nuevos proveedores y recopila la información necesaria del proveedor (Formulario W-9). Lo envía a su supervisor para su procesamiento de manera oportuna.

· Realiza conciliaciones mensuales de cuentas de tarjetas de crédito y cuentas bancarias, incluyendo la confirmación de recibos de respaldo y documentación requerida.

· Proporciona asistencia administrativa a la gerencia según se solicite.

· Participa en proyectos de mejora o implementación de sistemas.

· Prepara la hoja de solicitud de pagos semanales y la envía a la Gestión de Tesorería para su aprobación. Asegura que los pagos aprobados se procesen y liberen de manera oportuna.

· Administra el registro de proveedores. Asegura que la configuración del proveedor sea precisa y que los cambios se ingresen de manera oportuna. Crea y mantiene recursos departamentales, incluyendo listas de proveedores, términos de pago y otra información pertinente.

· Prepara y/o revisa informes de impuestos sobre ventas basados en facturas y procedimientos departamentales establecidos. Asegura que los informes fiscales se completen de manera oportuna y se envíen para revisión y aprobación por parte de la gerencia.

· Actúa como líder en la resolución de conflictos con proveedores y en la conciliación del sublibro de cuentas por pagar.

· Mantiene un conocimiento actualizado de las prácticas y procedimientos departamentales.

· Realiza otras tareas relacionadas según se asignen.

Habilidades y Capacidades Requeridas

· Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita. Actitud positiva y disposición para ayudar a otros miembros del equipo.

· Excelentes habilidades organizativas y atención al detalle.

· Dominio del software de contabilidad de Microsoft Office Suite.

Educación y Experiencia

· Se prefiere un título en Negocios o Contabilidad.

· Más de 2 años de experiencia en un rol contable.
