Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of Geaux Eat Restaurants HQ, specifically focusing on the management of payables and receivables. This position is responsible for the approval of invoices, ensuring accurate coding, and monitoring the aging reports of Accounts Payable. Additionally, the Analyst will contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

· Evaluates and authorizes invoices submitted by accounts payable personnel, ensuring proper coding to relevant business units and general ledger accounts.

· Processes and categorizes incoming invoices, validating the coding entered by operational teams.

· Imports invoices into financial systems, ensuring accurate scanning, filing, and coding of received documents.

· Oversees the general accounting and accounts payable shared email accounts, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups until issues are resolved.

· Verifies the accuracy of invoice details and supporting documents, collaborating with team members for necessary information.

· Maintains effective communication with vendors to address inquiries and issues.

· Completes vendor setup forms and gathers necessary information, ensuring timely submission for processing.

· Conducts monthly reconciliations of credit card and bank accounts, confirming supporting receipts and documentation.

· Provides administrative support to management as needed.

· Engages in system enhancement or implementation initiatives.

· Prepares weekly payable requests for Treasury Management approval, ensuring timely processing of approved payments.

· Manages the vendor database, ensuring accurate setup and timely updates to vendor information. Develops and maintains departmental resources, including vendor lists and payment terms.

· Prepares and reviews sales tax reports based on invoices, ensuring timely completion and submission for management review.

· Acts as the primary contact for resolving vendor disputes and reconciling the Accounts Payable subledger.

· Maintains current knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.

· Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.

· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

Education and Experience

· A degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.

· A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial role.
