Position Title: Roustabout Crew Pusher
Salary: Competitive

Job Summary:
This role entails overseeing a team of roustabouts engaged in a variety of oilfield services, including the construction of new wells, maintenance tasks, and other essential roustabout functions. The crew utilizes a range of equipment such as tractors, trucks, trailers, and maintenance tools. The Crew Pusher provides hands-on leadership to ensure that all operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ongoing training and mentorship to Roustabout Laborers, promoting skill enhancement and safety protocols.
  • Facilitate transportation to and from job sites for the crew, ensuring compliance with company vehicle policies and maintaining vehicle standards.
  • Safely secure and transport necessary equipment in accordance with company and DOT regulations.
  • Ensure that all crew members are equipped with the required safety gear and that all equipment is regularly inspected and maintained.
  • Conduct Job Safety Analysis and Pre-Job Safety Meetings to identify and address potential hazards before commencing work.
  • Accurately complete and submit Field Tickets or other documentation reflecting crew work hours.
  • Maintain effective communication with field management regarding job status, hazards, and crew needs.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience supervising Roustabout Laborers, focusing on skill development and safety.
  • Experience with maintenance of pumping units, batteries, and treaters.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
  • Resourceful in coordinating equipment for consecutive jobs.
  • Commitment to delivering quality services to clients.
  • Familiarity with common tools and equipment used in the oil and gas sector.
  • Basic mathematical skills for necessary calculations.
  • Professional demeanor and motivation to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient in operating vehicles and equipment relevant to roustabout tasks.
  • Competent in using computers and software applications such as Microsoft Office and timekeeping systems.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and management.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a roustabout role.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic knowledge of construction and roustabout tools and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of supervisory experience in a roustabout capacity.
  • Possession of a valid Class A CDL.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, climbing, and lifting. The employee must be capable of lifting up to 65 pounds unassisted and must wear appropriate safety gear as needed.

Work Environment:
The role typically involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions and may require extended hours, including weekends. The employee will be exposed to loud noise levels and potential hazards associated with machinery and equipment.
