Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team at LBA Hospitality. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our hotel's high standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, ensuring a positive first impression of our hotel.
    • Register guests, assign rooms, and maintain guest privacy while accommodating special requests when possible.
  • Sales and Marketing
    • Promote and sell hotel services and amenities to guests, highlighting the benefits and value of our offerings.
    • Encourage repeat business by offering to take future reservations and providing recommendations for alternate same-brand products.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to address guest requests and concerns.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process guest payments, handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Check all credit cards for validity before the end of the shift.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service, sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on finding solutions that meet guest needs.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
    • Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and use our property management system.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move around the hotel as needed.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier objects.
Working Conditions

This role requires a high level of flexibility, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times, even in challenging situations.
