Job Summary

Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiology Department, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients in our Outpatient and Inpatient areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Attending Physicians to evaluate and manage patients
  • Work with a team of Advanced Clinical Practice Providers, Nurses, and Technicians to ensure seamless patient care
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients in the Cardiology Outpatient and Inpatient areas
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's degree or greater in Nursing from an ANA-accredited School of Nursing
  • Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse through a specialty association
  • Current CDS and DEA licenses required
  • At least 1-year experience in Critical Care or Telemetry inpatient care
  • Preferred: Cardiology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider or in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and database management
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking
