Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients in the Electrophysiology Outpatient and Inpatient areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Attending Physicians to evaluate and manage patients with conduction system disorders, arrhythmias, Pacemakers, and Defibrillators.
  • Work with a team of Advanced Clinical Practice Providers, Nurses, and Technicians to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with complex cardiac conditions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ECGs and echocardiograms.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or greater in Nursing.
  • Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Certification.
  • Current CDS and DEA licenses required.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cardiology or EP experience as an Advanced Practice Provider or in Nursing.
  • Orientation will be customized based on experience.
