We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients in the Electrophysiology Outpatient and Inpatient areas.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Attending Physicians to evaluate and manage patients with conduction system disorders, arrhythmias, Pacemakers, and Defibrillators.
- Work with a team of Advanced Clinical Practice Providers, Nurses, and Technicians to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with complex cardiac conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ECGs and echocardiograms.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing or related field.
- Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Certification.
- Current DEA license and Controlled Danger Substances certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiology or Electrophysiology, preferably as an Advanced Practice Provider.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
