Key Responsibilities
As a Builder Sales Manager, your primary focus will be on driving sales and marketing initiatives for designated accounts. You will actively engage with Cosentino's sales team to foster profitable growth within these accounts.
Sales Management
- Formulate and implement strategies to boost sales of stone surfacing products in the new home construction sector.
- Build and nurture relationships with targeted builder accounts through proactive outreach, including cold calls and scheduled meetings.
Customer Engagement
- Develop comprehensive builder profiles by prioritizing activities to secure and retain their business.
- Effectively communicate product features and their benefits to each account.
- Collaborate with peers at local, regional, and national levels to enhance customer satisfaction and market penetration.
- Serve as a liaison among the company, builders, and fabricators to provide updates on pricing, services, and new product introductions.
Strategic Planning
- Create action plans to identify targets and forecast contact numbers.
- Work alongside the General Manager and Sales Team to execute business strategies across customer segments.
- Contribute to the annual sales and marketing plan for the assigned territory.
- Assess and negotiate product placement in model homes and showrooms.
- Maintain detailed records of relationships, product placements, and project developments using the project management database.
Qualifications for Success
Professional Experience
- Required: Minimum of 4 years in sales within the building industry.
- Required: At least 2 years of experience interacting with various levels in commercial projects.
- Required: 1 year of experience in business development.
- Desired: Experience in stone fabrication or distribution.
- Desired: Familiarity with customer databases, preferably Salesforce.
Knowledge Base
- Required: Understanding of building materials.
- Desired: Experience in stone fabrication or distribution.
Educational Background
- Required: High School diploma or GED.
- Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
