CPI Security, a leading provider of residential and commercial security systems, is seeking a highly motivated Sports Sponsorship and Event Marketing Lead to develop and execute our community engagement strategies. This role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and requires a strong passion for local communities and CPI's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop targeted marketing strategies and campaigns to promote sports events, teams, or products across digital and traditional channels.
  • Create engaging content to enhance fan experience and drive engagement through social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms.
  • Support the promotion and execution of sports events, manage sponsorships, build relationships with partners, and collaborate on community service initiatives to enhance brand reputation.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, manage marketing budgets, and optimize strategies based on data insights to maximize impact and ROI.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the sports industry.
  • Negotiate and build single or multi-year partnerships with key collegiate/professional sports teams, building brand affinity through partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute successful events that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Plan and execute engaging and successful events that promote brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize your knowledge and understanding of the sports industry to identify key opportunities and partnerships for CPI.
  • Create and manage budgets for sports marketing events and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze the success of sports marketing initiatives and make recommendations for future improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor strategies to inform sports marketing decisions.
  • Ensure all sports marketing materials and messaging align with CPI brand and values.
  • Collaborate with the PR team to generate media coverage for sports/events and initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Manage and maintain event logistics, including vendor relationships, contracts, and timelines.
  • Ensure all events and initiatives comply with company policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Sports Marketing.
  • Five years of experience in non-profits, community engagement, sports marketing.
  • Must be located and working from our Corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated history of event planning/management required.
  • Proven track record of building relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and partners.
