Facility Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Manager to join our team at SP+. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities, managing special events, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain a vast labor pool of frontline employees, providing training and tools to ensure their success.
  • Supervise the quality of work for all employees, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure facilities are open and closed at specified times, and supervise safe handling of cash and timely deposits.
  • Monitor and maintain proper parking, security, and customer service procedures.
  • Handle personnel issues, paperwork, and training for support staff.
  • Supervise special events and functions, ensuring efficient and proper service to customers.
  • Monitor facility maintenance, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare bank deposits, reviewing paperwork to ensure accurate accounting and security.
  • Monitor office audits, ensuring proper sales totals and security vigilance.
  • Handle general accounting duties, including accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting.
  • Monitor and review damage claims, recommending safety improvements to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Compile and submit Event Summaries and After Action Reports to Senior Management.
  • Respond to customer service issues, maintaining order in assigned lots and relationships with police and security personnel.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimal high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior supervisory/managerial experience in parking preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
  • Ability to respond positively to customer problems or complaints.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
Availability and Physical Demands

Special shift requirements may vary depending on location's hiring needs. Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required. The employee is required to stand for extended periods outside in varying weather conditions.
