We are seeking a highly skilled Neutronics Codes and Methods Engineer to join our team in Richland, WA. As a key member of our Fuel Business Unit, you will play a critical role in maintaining and developing the engineering software used to design and license fuel assemblies for our customers' nuclear reactor cores.
Your primary responsibilities will include working with multi-disciplinary teams to develop software and company products that support the design and licensing of Framatome fuel. You will also be responsible for programming new or revising existing software based on technical and performance objectives, performing licensing assessments for Framatome fuel design and methods, and developing and benchmarking models used in licensing assessments.
In addition, you will interface with U.S. regulations to license Framatome reactor core design and methods, and work within a Linux computing environment. This position requires occasional travel and a strong commitment to delivering clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.
