Welding Process Engineer

Extreme Holding is seeking a skilled Welding Process Engineer to join our team. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and assembling new metal forms using specialized equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years job-related experience and be able to follow blueprints to meet product specifications. They should also be able to MIG weld various metals and use hand tools, as well as calculate material measurements to meet specifications.
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, plus benefits including paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
Job Responsibilities:
The Welding Process Engineer will work closely with our production team to ensure that all metal forms are welded and assembled correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement welding processes to meet product specifications
- Conduct quality control checks on welds
- Assist in training new employees on welding procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in welding
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience MIG welding
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Ability to measure with precision
- Pays attention to detail and performs quality checks throughout the project
