We are Covestro, a company that is shaping the world with innovative chemical materials solutions. Our team is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Process Control Technology department.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of site assets, as well as the execution of capital and infrastructure projects. This role involves assisting in the planning and coordination of process control technology engineering and design of new facilities and renovations of existing ones. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical engineering and process control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for process control operation and reliability.
  • Responsible for ensuring shutdown and turn-around scope aligns with asset management strategy for the unit and best known engineering practices.
  • Accountable to maintain as-built plant documentation in his/her area, including critical equipment, power and control, instrument & safety PM/PdM compliance documentation, as well as control system configuration.
  • Perform trouble-shooting, failure analysis, and defect elimination on process control failures as well as lead root cause failure analysis on incidents.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering and at least 6 years of experience in a related field, or Electro/mechanical or in a manufacturing setting. Preferred qualifications include maintenance experience, project organization and cost control capabilities, working knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, and experience with Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
