Process Control Specialist

We are Covestro, a leading chemical materials solutions provider. Our Process Control Technology team is seeking an Electrical Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving our site assets.
About the JobThis is a unique opportunity to work on capital and infrastructure projects, assisting in the planning and coordination of process control technology engineering and design of new facilities and renovations of existing ones. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical engineering and process control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure process control operation and reliability.
- Develop and implement shutdown and turn-around plans that align with asset management strategy for the unit and best known engineering practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date as-built plant documentation, including critical equipment, power and control, instrument & safety PM/PdM compliance documentation, as well as control system configuration.
- Analyze and resolve process control failures and incidents, applying root cause failure analysis methodologies.
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in electrical engineering, controls engineering, or electro/mechanical fields. Preferred qualifications include experience in maintenance, project organization, and cost control, as well as proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLCs and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience.
