At Adams Memorial Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Medication Administration Specialist to join our team. As a Medication Administration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our patients in long-term care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer non-parenteral medications in accordance with a physician's plan of treatment and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective administration of medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medication administration practices.
- Valid QMA certification in the State of Indiana.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Ability to work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
- Ability to work third shift, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
