About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our team at UNC Health Care. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient movement, ensuring seamless transitions during admission, orientation, and discharge.
  • Act as primary service representative for the unit, responding to inquiries and escalating concerns to appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain unit accountability systems, such as physical environment checklists, to ensure a safe and efficient clinical area.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also provide administrative support to nurses and other healthcare professionals, assisting with routine examinations and procedures, as well as procuring equipment and supplies during emergency situations.

Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience with common computer applications, including Microsoft Office or similar, and simple e-commerce or online ordering tools.
  • Nursing assistant certification, such as Nurse Aide I registration as administered by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options.
