Role Summary:

We are seeking a Manager of Analytics who will play a pivotal role in harnessing analytical expertise to create impactful analytics solutions. This position will focus on developing actionable insights that drive organizational success and support our clients in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex analytical initiatives utilizing diverse data sources.
  • Extract, consolidate, and validate data from various origins for in-depth analysis.
  • Effectively apply technical specifications to healthcare datasets.
  • Manage multiple projects, adapt to evolving priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Implement robust analytical and statistical methodologies.
  • Design, produce, and conduct quality reviews of financial, actuarial, risk adjustment, clinical, and operational analytics for dashboards and KPI reports.
  • Develop clean, reusable analytical code while leveraging existing data team resources.
  • Communicate findings and integrate them into forecasting and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards, including HIPAA.
  • Address ad-hoc inquiries and educate business users on self-service analytics.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Identify patterns and trends in aggregate data to uncover risks or opportunities and suggest performance enhancements.
  • Propose improvements for database design and data collection methods.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of analytics products and outputs.
  • Collaborate with various teams to disseminate important information and enhance organizational awareness of relevant data.
  • Engage with external data providers and client organizations to identify critical data for decision-making.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of SQL experience and 3 years working with Enterprise Data Warehouses in a healthcare context.

Skills:

  • Expertise in designing and implementing healthcare analytics solutions using administrative claims, clinical, and operational data.
  • Experience in management analytics, actuarial/healthcare economics, risk adjustment, and quality improvement programs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Medicare Advantage, Medicare FFS, MSSP, ACO programs, and commercial populations is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting analytic insights to stakeholders using BI tools, MS PowerPoint, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing analytical support to business partners.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Sigma.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud-based query applications.
  • Experience with the extraction, transformation, and loading of diverse healthcare data sources.
