Summary

The Medicare Advantage Clinical Analytics team's mission is to provide operational and analytical support to our partners, promote sustained revenue growth and management, and improve customer value and affordability for Cigna Medicare. The Clinical Programs Analytics Manager is an opportunity to lead complex analytics projects and produce insights related to Cigna's Medicare clinical programs. The Manager will work collaboratively with business analytics work groups, such as Risk Adjustment, STARs, and Clinical Operations, transforming ideas into concept through a team of business analysts.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Clinical Analytics, this position will manage the prioritization, intake, and deliverables for reporting and analytics related to the clinical programs in support of the Medicare Clinical Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts to develop and apply fast-paced, scalable analytical/reporting solutions for Medicare clinical programs
  • Exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in planning and delivering initiatives
  • Provide expert content/professional leadership, understanding business strategy, to best deploy analytics solutions that help them achieve business goals in conjunction with manager
  • Provide individual and team leadership for the team as they grow their capabilities, achieve their career goals, and meet team objectives
  • Ensure project status, analytic approach, and results are clearly understood and communicated to business partners
  • Assist in presenting results and recommendations to key stakeholders, including leadership
  • Contribute to executing reporting and analytics roadmap and strategy
  • Consult with business stakeholders to define and prioritize key strategic analyses related to clinical programs and initiatives
  • Evaluate clinical programs, providing insights to optimize various clinical initiatives
  • Ensure quality and integrity of data collected, analyses performed, and presentation to our matrix partners

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' industry experience solving business problems through the application of analytic approaches
  • Experience with medical claims analytics, clinical data, and/or financial data and associated analytics tools
  • Experience with managing a team, ideally in a virtual environment or across multiple locations
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in complex matrix organizations, driving outstanding results
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and ability to work with various matrix partners such as actuary, medical economics, clinical leaders and IT
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 102, ,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
