Role Overview:

We are seeking a Manager of Analytics to leverage analytical expertise in developing impactful analytics deliverables. This role is essential in assisting our organization and clients in capturing critical, actionable data to meet their objectives while adhering to established company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in complex analytical projects utilizing diverse data sources.
  • Extract, aggregate, and validate data from various sources for comprehensive root cause analysis.
  • Effectively apply technical specifications to healthcare datasets.
  • Manage multiple priorities, adapt to changes, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Implement suitable analytical and statistical methodologies.
  • Design, produce, review, and support financial, actuarial, risk adjustment, clinical, and operational analytics for dashboards and KPI reports.
  • Develop clean, reusable, and testable analytical code, utilizing existing data team libraries and modules.
  • Communicate findings and integrate them into forecasting and reporting processes.
  • Ensure data privacy and security compliance in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Address ad-hoc inquiries and guide business users in utilizing self-service analytics.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Identify patterns and emerging trends from aggregate data to highlight risks or opportunities and suggest performance enhancements.
  • Propose improvements for database design and data capture methodologies.
  • Guarantee the quality and integrity of analytics products and outputs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to disseminate vital information and enhance company awareness of relevant data.
  • Work with external data providers and client organizations to identify pertinent data for informed decision-making.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of SQL experience and 3 years working with Enterprise Data Warehouses in a healthcare context.

Skills:

  • Expertise in designing and building healthcare analytics solutions using administrative claims, clinical, and operational data.
  • Experience in management analytics, actuarial/healthcare economics, risk adjustment, and quality improvement programs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Medicare Advantage, Medicare FFS, MSSP, ACO programs, and commercial populations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in communicating analytic insights effectively using BI tools, MS PowerPoint, or other relevant platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in directly supporting business partners through analytics.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Sigma.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud-based query applications.
  • Experience with extraction, transformation, and loading of diverse healthcare data sources.
