Job Title: Regional HR Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional HR Manager to join our team at EchoPark Automotive. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing the human resources function for our Texas market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a successful onboarding experience for associates, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Provide human resource support to associates and managers in the Texas region, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct weekly virtual new hire orientations, ensuring all new hires receive the necessary information and support.
  • Coordinate benefits administration, including notifying newly eligible associates of their benefits and facilitating the resolution of benefits eligibility and claims issues.
  • Facilitate the annual open enrollment process and review 401(k) participation, providing associate training and education as needed.
  • Process family status change requests, initiate and track FMLA documentation, and assist associates with the disability process.
  • Conduct exit interviews to determine the reasons behind separations, prepare reports, and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
  • Serve as a resource for associate questions, concerns, and/or complaints, making appropriate referrals as necessary.
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local employment and associate relations laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Maintain regulatory postings in the dealerships for associate viewing and ensure that all communication to dealerships from Corporate HR, Benefits Department, and vendors is distributed to associates.
  • Train store managers, hiring managers, and supervisors as needed in the use of various HR web-based tools, including Smart Recruiter, Absence Management, On-Boarding, and Performance Management.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of demonstrated HR leadership experience.
  • HR Generalist experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned duties.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
