Job Title: Community-Based Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community-Based Therapist to join our team at MBI Health Services, LLC. As a Community-Based Therapist, you will work with families and youth in the metro DC area to provide intensive community-based intervention using the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area, and be licensed as a LGPC, LGSW, LSWA, or Licensed Psychologist Associate. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of clients and families, engaging primary caregivers and family members in change-oriented treatment, and dedicating time to weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct clinical treatment using the Community-Based Therapist or MST treatment model and principles.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of the client and family, gathering information on behaviors of concern and strengths in the family and their ecology.
  • Continuously work to engage the primary caregiver, family members, supports, and community agency staff in change-oriented treatment.
  • Dedicate time to weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress, with ongoing support from your supervisor and team members.
  • Receive regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities designed to help you acquire extensive clinical skills within the MST treatment model.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area.
  • Professional licensure as LGPC, LGSW, LSWA, or Licensed Psychologist Associate.
