Job Title: School Based Therapist

Job Summary:

Synectics Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Based Therapist to join our team. As a School Based Therapist, you will provide mental health services to students and their families, working closely with school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct mental health services, including intake assessments, individual and family therapy, and crisis intervention.
  • Collect information about consumers through interviews, tests, and evaluation of day-to-day functioning.
  • Identify areas needing continued support, resources, and treatment to assist consumers.
  • Complete master treatment plans, treatment plan updates, managed care authorizations, and chart requirements.
  • Prepare and complete diagnostic and bio-psychological assessments, clinical notes, referrals, and treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and clinical supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records relating to consumers' treatment.
  • Provide therapy and maintain an assigned caseload.
  • Work with Clinical Managers and other multi-disciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans and assessments.
  • Create case management notes and input into systems as needed.
  • Provide complete and timely documentation to support services rendered.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • LGSW/LGPC required.
  • 1-3 years of mental health experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational skills.
