Traveling Respiratory Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Traveling Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a member of our Respiratory Team, you will play a critical role in providing quality patient care during this challenging time.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to ensure optimal respiratory care.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, including the insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
  • Perform timely and accurate documentation to ensure seamless communication with healthcare teams.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement and patient safety through evidence-based practices.
  • Teach and counsel patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification, with BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
