Job Title: FFT Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate FFT Therapist to join our team at Better Morning, Inc. in Washington DC.

Job Summary:

The FFT Therapist will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and person-centered therapy to individuals, adolescents, youth, couples, and families with various mental health issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with at-risk youth and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide FFT therapy to individuals, adolescents, youth, couples, and families
  • Assess and develop treatment plans for clients
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and community stakeholders
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in weekly team supervision and consultation
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in mental health or related field
  • Graduate-level license (LGPC or LGSW)
  • Experience in family systems therapy or behaviorally based marital and substance abuse treatment therapy
  • Excellent writing and case documenting skills
  • Strong clinical skills and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to internalize and work within the evidence-based Functional Family Therapy philosophy and model
