Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting various human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and training and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and maintain job descriptions and specifications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager inquiries and concerns.
  • Promote a positive work environment through effective conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee recognition programs.
  • Support managers in conducting performance evaluations and setting performance goals.
  • Assist in developing performance improvement plans and providing coaching and feedback.
  • Assist with the corrective disciplinary action process, provide guidance to both managers and employees.
  • Monitor and track employee performance and development plans.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
  • Coordinate open enrollment and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist with pay & timekeeping questions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee training programs.
  • Support professional development initiatives and career pathing.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug testing.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
