Position Overview

Reports to: Sales Floor Supervisor/Store Manager

Job Summary: As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the management team of the store. Your responsibilities will include overseeing store staff, managing store opening procedures, and acting as the keyholder/supervisor on duty. You will be instrumental in training and mentoring store associates, demonstrating exemplary customer service, addressing team challenges, and ensuring the store's merchandising, cleanliness, and overall appearance meet company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management team in driving productivity and achieving business objectives on the sales floor and at the cash registers.
  • Oversee the management and direction of cashiers and sales floor personnel in compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Ensure accurate documentation of all cash management activities, including counts, deposits, and petty cash handling.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs with a positive attitude and ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Maintain organized and secure company records in accordance with established policies and legal requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment where team contributions are recognized and valued.
  • Address performance issues in a timely, respectful, and constructive manner, focusing on solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in retail, quick service restaurants, or warehouse settings.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory role.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
