Techwish is in search of an Agile Transformation Consultant for a long-term contract engagement with a prominent client. This role requires a hybrid work model, necessitating in-office presence for part of the week.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of agile practices, methodologies, and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, to effectively deliver solutions to clients.

Key responsibilities include coaching teams to enhance software development and deployment processes through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

We are looking for individuals with leadership and management experience, complemented by excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with a strong commitment to transparency, visibility, and the utilization of data-driven metrics.

Certifications and Experience:

Required certifications include CSM, with a preference for CSP-SM or PSM I, and ideally PSM II. Familiarity with Kanban and the Spotify model is advantageous, as is experience with the SAFe framework. Previous roles in Agile Coaching, Project Management, or Program Management will be beneficial.

Tool Proficiency:

Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, and MS Outlook is required, along with familiarity with collaboration platforms like Mural, Mentimeter, and Slido.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Relevant Agile certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master, are advantageous.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Scrum Master role or similar capacity is expected.

A technical background and experience in delivering projects within regulated environments are also preferred.

Key Skills:

The candidate should be capable of training developers to become effective Scrum Masters aligned with organizational goals.

Effective communication with Scrum Teams and stakeholders is crucial for influencing progress and driving decision-making.

Ability to assess team strengths and areas for improvement, along with creating actionable plans for achieving high performance, is essential.

Proficiency in coaching teams on DevOps practices, identifying workflow gaps, and recommending enhancements is expected.

Facilitation of all Scrum events, including those related to BRP/PI planning, is a key responsibility.

The consultant will guide teams and Scrum Masters in implementing Scrum methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-priority features and services.

Ensuring that Scrum practices and guidelines are well understood and effectively implemented is a critical aspect of this role.

Collaboration with Agile coaches and Scrum Masters to address team impediments within and outside departments is essential.

Working alongside other Agile coaches and Scrum Masters to promote Agile practices within their Tribe will be a primary focus.
