Agile Transformation Consultant

Techwish is looking for an Agile Transformation Consultant for a long-term contract engagement with a prominent client. This position is hybrid, requiring the consultant to work onsite a few days a week.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of agile practices, methodologies, and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, to effectively deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Key responsibilities include coaching teams to enhance software development and deployment processes through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership and management capabilities, alongside excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential, with a strong emphasis on transparency, visibility, and the utilization of data and metrics.
Required Certifications and Experience:
Certifications: CSM is required; CSP-SM or PSM I preferred, with PSM II being a plus. Experience with Kanban and familiarity with the Spotify model are advantageous. Previous experience in SAFe and roles in Agile Coaching, Project Management, or Program Management are also beneficial.
Tool Proficiency:
Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, MS Outlook, and other Microsoft products is required. Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Mural, Mentimeter, and Slido is also a plus.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Agile-related certifications such as Certified Scrum Master are advantageous.
4+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role or similar positions is required.
Technical Skills:
Experience in software delivery and working within regulated environments is beneficial.
Ability to train developers to become effective Scrum Masters aligned with organizational goals.
Effective communication with Scrum Teams and stakeholders to influence progress and facilitate decision-making.
Assessment of team strengths and areas for improvement, accompanied by actionable plans to enhance performance.
Expertise in coaching teams on DevOps practices, identifying workflow gaps, and recommending improvements.
Facilitation of all Scrum events, including those related to BRP/PI planning.
Guidance and leadership for teams or Scrum Masters in implementing Scrum methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of high-priority features and services.
Accountability for ensuring that Scrum practices and guidelines are well understood and effectively implemented.
Collaboration with Agile coaches and Scrum Masters to address team impediments and enhance Agile practices across departments.
Engagement with other Agile coaches and Scrum Masters to promote Agile methodologies within their respective teams.
