- Analyze and implement updates to products, providing consultative insights to identify unexpressed needs.
- Maintain thorough documentation of interactions to support client relationship management.
- Adhere to compliance standards set by regulatory bodies, company policies, and local legislation.
- Inform clients about tax implications, penalties, benefits, and details regarding plans and contracts.
- Evaluate issues to determine the best course of action, aiming for resolution on the first contact and collaborating with internal teams for more complex matters.
- Engage in regular meetings with management to discuss career development and establish objectives.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A degree in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, or communications is preferred.
- Relevant licenses or certifications such as ChFC, CLU, or other industry credentials are advantageous; FINRA series 6 and/or 26 licenses may be required based on the specific product or business line.
Experience and Skills
- A minimum of one year in customer service or sales-related roles.
- Familiarity with various insurance products and the sales process.
- Comprehensive understanding of state and local regulations affecting product features.
- Awareness of the implications of non-compliance with FINRA regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Proficient in using computers and standard office software.
- Ability to grasp general aspects of plans and contracts, utilizing technology to enhance client conversations.
