Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A degree in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, or communications is preferred.
  • Relevant licenses or certifications such as ChFC, CLU, or other industry credentials are advantageous; FINRA series 6 and/or 26 licenses may be required based on the specific product or business line.

Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of one year in customer service or sales-related roles.
  • Familiarity with various insurance products and the sales process.
  • Comprehensive understanding of state and local regulations affecting product features.
  • Awareness of the implications of non-compliance with FINRA regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Proficient in using computers and standard office software.
  • Ability to grasp general aspects of plans and contracts, utilizing technology to enhance client conversations.
