The Fiscal Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all tax obligations and related reporting requirements applicable in the U.S. and international jurisdictions where it operates, in compliance with legal standards. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:


Assist in the preparation of the Company's federal and state income tax returns, as well as Sales and Use and property tax returns, including data analysis, accumulation, and reporting.

Maintain U.S. tax accounts and support the monthly and quarterly income tax provisions.
Provide assistance for accounting and financial reporting activities.
Respond to initial inquiries during Federal and State Income tax audits.
Support efforts to minimize income tax liabilities through research and the development of cost-effective tax strategies and special projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate tax and accounting compliance; experience in both industry and national accounting firms is highly preferred.

CPA designation is preferred.
Familiarity with corporate tax return preparation and fixed asset software.
Exceptional ability to manage large datasets and create and maintain spreadsheet analyses.
Basic research skills complemented by some technical writing proficiency.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) and tax provision software, such as OneSource.
