Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Contracts Specialist to join our team at Zobility, a leading workforce management and staffing division of RGBSI. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective development and management of engineering and construction related procurement contracts in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Development and Management: Develop and manage engineering and construction related procurement contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Management: Work with the supply chain team to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies for procurement and materials management.
  • Contract Negotiation and Administration: Negotiate and administer Engineering Procurement Contract (EPC) agreements with large construction suppliers, and administer EPC Agreements, including resolution of billing issues and negotiation of collateral.
  • Contract Compliance and Monitoring: Ensure compliance with terms and conditions of executed contracts, and monitor contract performance to identify deviations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to employees at construction sites on contract particulars and contract management.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain close contact with personnel at construction sites to ensure awareness of contract performances and deviations, and coordinate resolution of contractual and technical disagreements between the company and contractors.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare management reports for management and department, and monitor contract performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Considerable related work experience (5+ years) dealing with contractors, integrated suppliers, and alliance partners, with a preference for 2 years of nuclear experience.
  • Skills: Leadership, excellent work and project management skills, effective decision making and problem solving, strong organizational skills, negotiating payment settlements, forecasting and trend analysis, value/cost analysis, excellent math and computer skills, analytical, and computer proficiency.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of accounting principles, considerable work experience with energy contracts and negotiations, and basic knowledge and application of regulatory methods requirements, rate making principles, and procedures.
