Peraton is seeking experienced Project Managers - Level 2 to oversee the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective management of projects at various locations.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager Level 2 (PM L2) is tasked with the comprehensive management of assigned projects, which includes:
- Defining project requirements, scope, budget, and timelines.
- Monitoring project performance and making necessary adjustments.
- Providing regular updates and progress reviews to stakeholders.
- Implementing and enforcing project management policies and methodologies.
- Overseeing the preparation of essential documentation and reports.
Essential Duties
The PM L2 will be responsible for:
- Documenting all project support requirements in a Project Management Plan (PMP).
- Detailing management strategies and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Creating a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that outlines responsibilities.
- Managing risk through a well-defined Quality Management Plan (QMP).
- Facilitating effective communication processes among project stakeholders.
- Ensuring the location of technical and project management documentation is maintained.
- Some roles may require flexible work hours to meet mission needs.
Qualifications
Required:
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with potential supervisory responsibilities.
- Possession of a DoD TS clearance or higher.
- Extensive experience in project management.
- At least two years in a similar role or five years of specialized experience.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition regulations and procedures.
Desired:
- Certification as a SCRUM Master (CSM).
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications such as PgMP or PMP.
