Computed Tomography Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art computerized tomography equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging, to provide high-quality patient care.
- Support other imaging technologists as needed and maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
- Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and possible contraindications.
- Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy-type procedures using CT equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
- Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams being performed and maintain Infection Control standards.
- Correctly code and enter charges for exams performed.
- Adapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the unique needs of each patient.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to the Core values of CHRISTUS Health.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent.
- 1 year of CT experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting required; 3 years of CT experience in a clinical Imaging setting preferred.
- Registered by the (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technology required; Registered by the (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technology in CT required.
- Current state Licensure required; Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.
