We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of imaging procedures using state-of-the-art computerized diagnostic equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, including starting and maintaining intravenous (IV) access and using high-speed, pressurized injection equipment.
- Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers, coordinating and prioritizing procedures to maintain high patient care and continuity.
- Assist Radiologists in invasive and biopsy-type procedures using CT equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
- Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams, and maintain Infection Control standards.
- Adapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate unique patient needs.
- Protect patient confidentiality and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting required; 3 years preferred.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT required.
- Current state licensure and BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
