About the Internship

Springs Window Fashions is a leading manufacturer of window coverings in North America, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Information Technology team as a Machine Learning Intern.

Internship Overview

This internship provides a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects related to computer vision and generative AI, while gaining valuable work experience and professional development. You will be part of a cross-functional team, working on projects that involve:

  • Assessing OpenCV as a platform for providing feedback on part selection
  • Utilizing and training an OpenCV model to assess fabrics
  • Deploying the assessment/feedback via a SAMS Lite workstation
  • Developing a change management plan with the Reynosa 2 team
  • Collecting and auditing data to improve the accuracy of the model
  • Building summary reports of the model's performance
  • Assessing Generative AI as a platform for providing CSRs with information pertinent to customer requests
  • Working with CSRs to understand common customer requests and relevant data
  • Utilizing and training a Generative AI model to access data and information based on verbal inputs from customers
  • Developing a change management plan with the CSR team
  • Collecting and auditing data to improve the accuracy of the model
  • Building summary reports of the model's performance

Requirements

To be considered for this internship, you should have:

  • Previous internship experience in a relevant function
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree with a current standing of Sophomore/Junior level
  • Information Technology or Computer Science Major Preferred
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and attention to detail)
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
