Safety Development Specialist

LADGOV CORPORATION seeks a skilled Safety Development Specialist to lead our Occupational Health initiatives.

Job Overview:

This part-time role involves working closely with state Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene professionals to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will oversee the Composite Army National Guard Safety Development and Assessment Program, conduct site assessments, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Additionally, they will report findings to senior military leadership, prepare written reports, and engage in special studies to enhance Occupational Health services.

Essential Skills:
  • A strong background in Occupational Health and Nursing is required.
  • Familiarity with Army policies, OSHA, and federal Occupational Health laws is crucial.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills are necessary for success.
  • Ability to complete annual Department of Defense security training is mandatory.
Compensation:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on qualifications.
