About the Role
As a CPR and Safety Specialist, you will play a vital role in our organization by conducting training activities in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as Allied Universal standards. This role requires a strong background in classroom instruction and the ability to effectively train CPR/First Aid/AED, Defensive Tactics, Mobility Devices, Fire Safety Services, and other value-added services such as workplace violence/active shooter training.

Responsibilities will include working closely with operational partners to develop practical training programs at the client and branch level, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory mandated training. You will also identify, conduct vetting, and establish relationships with local training academies to provide support through external training opportunities. Effective communication with stakeholders, including Regional Training Manager, Field operations, Security Professionals, Supervisors, Field and Corporate Training, and Clients, is crucial for success in this position.

Key qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, passing any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing, and a minimum of two years of classroom instructor experience. You should also possess a valid driver's license, have outstanding oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint. Additional preferred qualifications include National Rifle Association (NRA) Law Enforcement Instructor certification, college coursework in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Security Management, or related field, prior experience in the fire service, security industry, law enforcement and/or military, and experience in security operations or other functions of security industry.

The estimated salary for this position is $54,900 per year, based on industry standards and location considerations. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance, as well as eligibility for enrollment in our company's 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirements. Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days are also part of the package.
